In this week's episode we want to talk a little bit about saggy skin. As we age, it’s normal to experience changes – even those we don’t welcome, including saggy skin.
Aging, sun exposure, and heredity can thin out skin over time, making it sag and making us look older.
Collagen and elastin are the cells that help our skin to stay flexible, strong and tight, providing its elasticity. But as we age our collagen levels start to decline by 1% per year from your mid 20’s and elastin reduces. Yes, as early as that!
But there is some good news. There are a few ways to tighten skin and help prevent future sagging and even food you can eat to help us with collagen production.
Listen to this week's episode for more tips on how to manage that saggy skin.
